Confirmed from Kennedy Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Public space that includes softball fields, 2 sand volleyball courts, picnic sites & formal garden.
What runners say about Kennedy Park
“Nice spacious park lots to do, duck pond, playground small/big,picnic areas, bike/walk way/path beautiful views”
Had a great walk with my dog! The trail was great and it was beautiful out. Nothing around to scare him, even the birthday party at the tables was a respectful volume. Could use some overall cleanup, but it was driftwood and such, right after days of rain so not a huge deal.
It was my first time to go to this place. Our location is near the playground and we were able to enjoy our celebration. I liked that it was breezy even though it was sunny. Our cottage was near the napa River Trail, so it was really nice to have that view. My son liked the playground. We went around 11 am.
Great walking or biking trails, volleyball courts, playground for the kiddos and on site bathrooms. Honestly a great venue for a young kids birthday or just a day out. Not too far away from the duck pond either which is another great stop!
This is an all rounded Park with BBQ pit, picnic areas, playground for kids, bike/walking/running route. It's right at the napa river so you are able to fish lor just enjoy a nice walk. Does have lots parking spaces

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
