Confirmed from Keystone State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Lake-centered nature area with fishing, camping, furnished cabins & a seasonal restaurant.
What runners say about Keystone State Park
“Pretty clean, didn't use public restroom or shower so can't comment on that.”
“Nice people, quality facilities, beautiful scenery, what more do you need?”
“The shelters areas had group picnic spots which had a good shaded area where you can hangout and cook if you are just in the park for the day.”
Fell in love with the views from post oak campground. Has two small trails inside if you are in the mood for morning jobs or walks. The campground was clean and very less crowd. The RV park was crowded on the other hand. The restrooms were decent. We got to spot Lot of deers running around at night.
A nice getaway for family and friends with RVs needing some nature therapy. There are several RV spots with power and water, and each site allows for a tent as well. Depending on availability, you have sites near or further away from the lake/boat ramp. Each RV site also has a picnic table, firepit and charcoal grill.
Really liked the walking trails, the covered sheds for the boats moored there, the wide loading ramps, nice office and gift shop. Peaceful and clean. Highly recommend!
Keystone State Park, Sand Springs, OK We arrived in the evening for an overnight stay. I m only giving it 4 stars because we had a hard time finding our campsite - our particular loop wasn’t well marked. There are electric and water hookups. We were on the hill above the lake but many campsites are along the lake.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
