I took my 10yr old daughter and 7 yr old granddaughter on an Art Walk here. The trail we chose was only 0.6 mi. So it was perfect for children with short attention spans. The girls brought their sketch books and would take time to stop and draw anything they found interesting. By the time we made the 0.
*We have hiked here several times. Today, (Dec 4, 2022) we took on the entire Falls Trail for the first time. It was a challenge for our family. But with the help of each other we made it through in 3 ½ hours. We saw 4 armadillos and beautiful views. We will return to hike another trail again.
Beautiful place! Several different trails of varying difficulty. There is a short asphalt trail, great for strollers. The facility has bathrooms, some souvenirs for sale, and walking sticks to borrow. There's a shelf with items for information and learning. The volunteers are always amazing and helpful!
This is an awesome hike. There's multiple trails that are easy, moderate and difficult. They have options for new and experienced hikers. They're very active in their assessment of the trail conditions, they have a huge sign with things to look out for such as mud.
