Confirmed from Kinns Road Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Can't complain I live beside the park, it is in my backyard. With the traffic that this park gets.... it is very popular with people with dogs and also who want to jog in the park as well. There is a parking lot along the Kinns road and has tables too for a picnic.

Nice quiet place to walk amongst tall trees. Multiple little trails to choose from all contained in the little park. The path is wide. It can get muddy depending on when you go. Lots of mosquitos. It is a carry in and carry out type of park so plan accordingly. Good place to bring your dogs.

Excellent dog park and short hiking trails. Trails are quite varied and cover a wide variety of terrain. Well marked enough for year round usage. Dogs can walk off leash if a permit is obtained from town hall. Most dog owners are mindful of their animals. Good for light trail running and family walks as well.

Great place to walk any time of the year. Well groomed paths even in the winter. Runners, walkers, and people with dogs. Dogs are allowed off leash here with tags so it is nice for dog walkers and attracts a lot of people in nice weather but may not be for everyone if you don't want to see dogs.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 28 mentions

“Perfect for walking the dog as well, seen everyone here walking their dog and the dogs seemed to enjoyed it :)”

  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
