We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Kirby Billingsley Hydro Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Kirby Billingsley Hydro Park
“The park is well maintained and the bathroom facilities are very clean.”
“Beautiful place for a picnic lunch, swim, and hang hammock for a nap.”
This is a wonderful waterfront park with many amenities. Acres of grass and waterfront beaches. The park is well maintained and the bathroom facilities are very clean. There is ample parking and it is a great spot to start a bike ride on the biking trail. The 3 baseball fields are some of the best ones in the region.
I only stopped here to hide from the 35 Celsius heat of the day! I did not explore the park, just come down to sit in some shade. Not sure what the mammals were that greeted me but they look like they may be a species of marmots. Very cute, curious and in abundance down there!
We really like walking along the river and watching boats launch and dock. There are marmite to observe in the rocks. Birds including ducks and geese were in the water when we were there. Relaxing time!
I loved this place... super relaxing, clean, and safe. Awesome to just walk, bike, or swim ... per friendly, and the view is amazing. A must stop place if you are on your way out from Wenatchee.
