Confirmed from Kiwanis Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Small park offering swings, a playground, a slide and picnic tables.
What runners say about Kiwanis Park
“Nicely maintained oasis and the small art fair offered a great selection of items in affordable price ranges.”
Great place to play for kiddos. My 3.5 year old loves it. Usually not terribly busy. No restrooms near by though. Parking is kind of goofy as the parking lot is linear running alongside the road.
A very clean, pretty park with new playground and lots of space to run around and play. No bathrooms that I could see, which was disappointing. Lots of well groomed trees providing shade for a picnic. Is surrounded on 2 sides by streets, but there is a nice parking lane off of the street along side one of the streets.
Kiwanis Park is a very nice place to walk around and talk with people. I personally like to go there with my girlfriend and just walk in circles and sit on the park and we have talks. Also the park is very nice to play on, despite my age of 18, I still have fun playing on the park.
Cute park to take the little ones to for afternoon playtime. Or stop for a break in the middle of a run. Possible picnic. Not recommended if you're looking for adventure or great views.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
