Confirmed from Klahhane Ridge Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Hiking area featuring mountains and views, and described by some as amazing.
What runners say about Klahhane Ridge Trail
“But the highlight was the stunning scenery — dramatic clouds drifting across snow-capped peaks and layers upon layers of mountain ridges stretching into the distance.”
Excellent day hike (about 4 miles out and 4 miles back) on a clear day. Can start at Hurricane Ridge parking lot. Last 1/2 mile of the 4 miles out is steep and makes you rethink your life choices, but the view was worth it. Bring a lunch to enjoy at that lookout point and water.
Beautiful hike with lots of wildlife! We encountered 8+ deer, various birds, butterflies, and even a bear (from a distance)!
Some of the best views I’ve EVER seen! Nice parking lot at the base of the trail and an easy loop to the top of the ridge. Cool forest, old ski lifts, and views of the park
Beautiful hiking trail with many beautiful viewpoints. From this trail you can admire the clearly visible higher parts of the Olimpic National Park mountains.
