Confirmed from Klode Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
This recreation area on Whitefish Bay features a sandy shoreline, plus a playground & tennis courts.
What runners say about Klode Park
“It's a small park but it's perfect and it is always clean and well maintained with fresh botanical arrangements each year!”
“There's nothing more beautiful than watching a Lake Michigan sunrise on a chilly spring morning.”
“Plus this park is usually not crowded at all, which is a big plus in my book.”
A beautiful slice of God's presence in Milwaukee. I'm glad I was told to stop here. Such a beautiful place to catch the sunrise in Milwaukee. The crisp cold morning air woke me up. Many dog walkers. Clean beautiful park. Must stop at 6:30 am in Milwaukee mid November.
Yep, Klode Park definitely rocks!!! It's one of my favorite parks of all time. I've been coming here for over 30 years. It's my place of soul solitude. The lake vistas are stunning.
Wonderful place to visit the beach and take your kids to the playground. The beach has a mix of rocks and sand, and the right end was clean and great for swimming and wading. Other parts had quite a bit of seaweed, but still very nice for walking along or sitting on the beach.
Fairly easy walk to beach from parking lot considering all the other stairs other WI beaches have to the magnificent Lake Michigan. Has both sand and pebbles although a little small. Wasn't too busy when i got there but as afternoon turned to evening it picked up popularity. Was there early September.
