Confirmed from Hubbard Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Public park with trails, picnic tables, and a beer garden, plus a summer fish fry.
What runners say about Hubbard Park
“Walk through a tunnel and you are transported to an up north style experience with beautiful Milwaukee river views and hiking trails in good condition.”
“Tonight the park was so pleasant and peaceful it reminded me just how much I adore this place.”
What more can you say about a magical location that makes you glad you moved I. Down the street? First time we walk through the tunnel not expecting the incredible view of the Milwaukee River, the beautiful surrounding forest and to our utter surprise and delight a German beer garden complete with liter beers,…
Hubbard Park is my favorite place in Shorewood. I love how it's kind of tucked away between the Oak Leaf Trail and the Milwaukee River. The views of the river are so peaceful. I got married there right at the river's edge in 2019 and it was absolutely perfect.
We went to Hubbard Park Lodge for the Easter Buffet. It was the most well-run buffet with servers who were so pleasant and efficient. The food was outstanding with a wide variety of dishes and a made to order omelette station. Fresh fruit included raspberries, melons, blueberries, pineapple.
Beautiful hidden away little park along the river, just off the bike path. There is a beer garden and a lodge space that has an awesome fish fry on Fridays. There's great trails for mountain biking or hiking.
