Confirmed from Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🪧 well-marked 2 mentions

“The nature trails were fun to walk and clearly marked.”

What a great nature walk!!! I'm here in Fall it must be incredible in spring. Don't let the ordinary appearance from the parking lot deter you! Head on in! There are several loops, different terrain and topography. We saw deer and turtles. The bird blind was great. All of the Eagle Scout project gardens are wonderful.

Absolutely breathtaking. The nature trails were fun to walk and clearly marked. We were able to see butterflies, birds, deer, and many flowers/plants. Definitely will return.

We love this park, particularly for the nature trails, access to water and pickleball and tennis courts. There is a large pool and hot tub as part of the park but it’s not open when we’re in the area. There are multiple shelters and a pavilion that can be rented or signed out for special events.

The park was large and have trails for us with our dogs. The path is made mostly of dirt and gravel. I love that it a stream that we were able to walk along. Watching the sunset along the park was nice as well. It was an awesome experience overall.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
