Confirmed from McSorley Creek Loop Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about McSorley Creek Loop Trail
I have been to Saltwater State Park many times before, but always overlooked this trail. This time around the beach didn't draw me in but the prospect of discovering new mushrooms and fungi. And this trail did not disappoint... presenting me with a couple of new specimens. As for this mesmerizing trail...
Great trail for a quick hike. Easy to navigate and good directional signage when it opens opens to the campground road. Peaceful with the exception of the flight path overhead, you will be constantly reminded you are not too deep into the woods because of the jets. No views/ wow factors. Plenty of parking.
Bit of a climb to get up to top of trail. But well worth it. Not for wheelchairs or people with walking difficulties. Kids can make it. Beautiful trail. Perfect really only downside is airplane noise every two minutes from SeaTac. It's bearable IMHO.
Fun little park! Beach Access, a loop trail, and plenty of picnic spaces.
