Confirmed from Lake Stevens Community Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Lake Stevens Community Park

“A plus for having bathrooms that are pretty darn clean.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 5 mentions

“Very scenic views at this location and kids just love diving in the water.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“Overall, an easy space to access and quiet areas to relax and enjoy yourself outside.”

Beautiful park! My family loves coming out here to spend some time playing. There really isn't much playground equipment. It is 4 swings and 2 of them are baby swings. Then there is a faux rock structure to climb on and something that rotates at an angle.

★★★★☆ — Jennifer , Mar 2022

Well kept park with several fields for sports. There is a large field off to the left side with many parking spaces available and features a few walking paths and short trails that weave into the nearby woods. There are restrooms available and benches.

★★★★★ — Joseph , May 2024

Nice place for walking around. We come here for Forest preschool. There are bathrooms and cleanliness is sometimes hit or miss. Playground is tiny but the kids enjoy it for the most part. There is a lot of parking available. Can get really busy around late spring/summer time when sports pick up.

★★★★☆ — Angela , Dec 2024

This is my favorite place to go to a baseball game or soccer. Parking is great the fields are always in good condition and there's plenty of bathrooms. Plus lots of other things to do if you have little ones that get bored watching a game.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
