Confirmed from Lakeside Lions Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Peaceful park with a playground and picnic facilities, as well as volleyball and fishing.

What runners say about Lakeside Lions Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (292 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

“It's a beautiful area to sit down at a picnic table and enjoy the view.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 4 mentions

“Now it's kinda like we are, old and peaceful but still all around wonderful!”

Such a fun place to take the family! Fun park and beautiful walking paths. We went there for fishing and only caught turtles which was totally okay and but not what we were going for. We still had such a great time!

★★★★☆ — Mia , Jul 2024

Good park with a nice loop trail. Kazeboos and a play ground here as well. There is a beach but the water is cover in lily pads so no ideal for swimming. Does have a dock for fishing but the water is currently low not sure if that'll impact your experience much.

A nice park with an odd ownership/management situation as ~10% is owned by Moundsview. The beach is pretty meh while a lifeguard is never on duty. The fishing pier is in a state of disrepair. A nice paved walking path surrounds the entire parameter and is directly accessable via city sidewalks.

★★★★☆ — Derek , Sep 2019

This is such a lovely and quieter park. My son and I both love the different playground equipment options! Plus, it gets a great breeze from the lake, has grills, a picnic area, a walking path and a gazebo.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 8 mentions

“There were lots of people walking their dogs and it appears that there's a restrooms but we didn't use them.”
