Confirmed from Lakeway City Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Riverside recreation area with trails & a beach, plus 2 playgrounds, a baseball field & a dog park.

“Visited Lakeway City Park today since it’s just a few miles from my place, and it turned out to be a really peaceful and enjoyable experience.”
Great park for a variety of things from cookouts, kids activities and walking along the shoreline on the paved trail. Not a hiking park but there are plenty of options for that nearby. They also have a dog park, more suitable for medium to small dogs.
Lakeway City Park is a wonderful place to spend time outdoors. It has a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, with plenty of trees providing shade and a beautiful view of the lake. The walking trails are well-maintained and perfect for a morning jog or an evening stroll.
Well kept park with lake access. It has a nice paved path with exercise equipment along the route and restrooms. There is a sand volley ball pit, pickle ball courts and two playgrounds, one for bigger kiddos and one for the Lil ones. There are some barbecue pits, benches and picnic tables throughout the park.
Great for swimming and love the cliffs. You will need some sunscreen no shade near the water but definitely worth checking out! Great for family!!!!
