Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

A great nature trail that is about a mile long from the parking area to the lake. The trail passes by a pond, a large open field/meadow, cuts through some trees in the forest with multiple trails branching off, and ends at the lake with a large campground and a large beach area to relax.

A beautiful trail to go on a morning run or an evening walk. Evenings are better as you can watch the sunset and it’s glorious, as you can see from the pictures. I went there late March and the trail barely had any snow. It’s a flat trail and people typically bring their family and their canine friends.

Got recommended by a local. Beautiful trail to walk or bike and to be with nature. Dog-friendly! Lots of luscious fields with long sugar pine trees and birds flying around. Trail goes to Nevada beach with panoramic view of snow-capped mountains and clear Lake Tahoe water. Was extremely peaceful🥰

Beautiful place to take your dog for a walk. We went in winter and the trail was quite marshy due to recent snow melt. The dog had a blast playing in the snow. In summer, she enjoys the stream here. Nice views and an easy, pretty walk in all seasons.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
