We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Lamb Canyon Trailhead 1 yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Lamb Canyon Trailhead 1

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (33 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 5 mentions

“The actual trail is easy to miss, but it's gorgeous!”

The turn comes up quick. Start slowing down and get ready to pull off when the guard rail starts. Moderate hike with sections of loose/sandy trail sections. Hiking or sturdy outdoor footwear needed. You can't leave by turning left.

I'm very happy to have found Lambs Canyon Trailhead. I plan to hike there, often, after work.

Great trails for dirtbikes & Duelsport riders. A running stream at the north east corner side by the 60 fwy giant air jumps on northeast side by Gilman springs Rd. And so many trails you never ride on the same one agin.2 spots I'm the middle were everyone goes shooting

The actual trail is easy to miss, but it's gorgeous! There's a dirt road to a house, and a small trail to an apiary. It's tge dirt road that seems to have trails branching from it. Tge one's I've found are kinda steep, but beautiful and fun to climb!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
