Confirmed from Larrabee State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Large camping park on Samish Bay with a beach, 2 freshwater lakes & miles of hiking & biking trails.
What runners say about Larrabee State Park
“Campsites are a bit closer to each other, but the restrooms are cleaned and well maintained.”
“The drive has been a favourite of mine and many others because of its picturesque landscape, replete with high-above the ware coastal vistas and drive-through grove.”
“Campsites are shaded by tall evergreens, and many offer privacy.”
“The water was calm and the skies were clear and the views at nearly sunset were breathtaking.”
One of my favorite parks and yearly camping spot. If you can get over the screeching train that comes once in a while, it is probably one of the most beautiful sunsets in the Puget Sound. Campsites are a bit closer to each other, but the restrooms are cleaned and well maintained.
My kids, large dog and I were on our way home from a hike and saw the entrance for the park and thought it would be fun to stop and take a quick peek at the views. We were very pleasantly surprised by a wonderful park!
My favorite place for hiking and beach exploration! Trails and parking are along both sides of the road. Beachfront is rugged and fascinating. A beautiful beach with gorgeous scenery! The walk down was really easy and there were lots of little tide pools during low tide. There is a picnic area too.
Beautiful place ever. Definitely a great place to visit. The chucknut drive part is pretty but roads are tight. There’s plenty of bathrooms, campgrounds, camping, BBQ pits, benches, water spots for drinking. Takes about a 5 minute hike to the water to the right. Then to the left is trails for awesome view points.
