Confirmed from Lewisburg Saddle Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“Fairly easy trail, could hear the creek.”

Trail 11 minutes from Corvallis, it is an excellent place for a short walk in the forest. There is an old-growth hike worth exploring.

★★★★★ — Ricardo , Mar 2023

Great trail system with plenty to see and plenty to do! Trails range from easy to moderate, some horse accessible, mountain bike accessible, and I think all are hiking accessible. One of my favorites to work out at, do some rucking, or trail running.

★★★★★ — David , Jun 2025

18 months or so ago I went for a hike with a friend and her children along the Ridge Trail. A short distance in the kids noticed a teapot hidden in the trees and then another and another. It was fun for the rest of the hike trying to spot them. I think we counted 14.

We tried to stay off of the gravel road as much as possible. New growth, old growth, Dave's trail and vineyard mountain trail. I don't like hiking on the gravel road. But the trails are nice and well maintained. There are occasional views of the valley.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
