Confirmed from Lew's Land Nature Preserve & Walking Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Lew's Land Nature Preserve & Walking Trail
Didn't get too far with my son in this walk before he wanted to turn around, but beware when turning in to park you have to indicate early and slow down a lot as it isn't a smooth transition off the road. Vehicles coming from behind me were rather annoyed even though there is a passing lane here
This is a hidden gem located in Meadville. A “through the woods” style hike, with relatively easy terrain. Towards the end, there is somewhat of a steep crevice but you can walk around it. There are geocaches located all throughout the property giving you something to do while you hike.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
