Confirmed from Liberty Lake Trail Head's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Well-known state park featuring a network of trails with waterfalls and creeks as well as picnic spots.

Great well maintained trail in the largest state park in Washington. The main trail parallels Liberty Creek which is slightly uphill for 2 miles until you reach The Cedar Grove. At this point you can turnaround and hike back or continue a steep climb up to beautiful vista at the top of some switchbacks.
This is a lovely trail for a day hike! The views of the lake make this a sight to be seen year-round. If it's your first time, just make sure to follow the path from the parking which goes through a grassy area and past some picnic tables. Within 5-10 minutes you should see the official start of the trail.
This is the prettiest and most fun loop in all of Spokane. ~8mi loop through dense forest and along a beautiful creek for a lot of it. I grew up in Santa Cruz, and this trail reminds me of the hikes in Nisene Marks.
Rally nice until about 7:30pm when the mosquitoes came out to eat us alive. That's a hard pass. But super peaceful, lots of grills, not many tables. Bring chairs, blankets, and a folding table. And BUG SPRAY. Our youth group went hiking there a week prior and my son and others had upwards of 20+ bites it was wild.
