Confirmed from Liberty State Park Walkway's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Liberty State Park Walkway
“Big playground, free parking, restrooms and very beautiful view of Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty.”
A great walk way that is a great place to walk or bike. Good place to just come and stroll at your own pace. With plenty of space to spread around during these COVID times. Plenty of parking at the state park parking lot. This is a great place to come walk on good days and even bad days. And the views are amazing.
Beautiful scenery. Wonderful place to go for a long walk or bike ride. If you want to work out there are stations along the walkway to stop at and add to you long walk or jog. Also places to have a family cookout with bench tables and parks for the little ones.
Best place to walk in any weather with a fantastic view of Jersey City, Manhattan, Brooklyn and The Statue of Liberty.
I’m here every week for walks on the board. very relaxing, awesome sights of New York city. Can’t beat this!
