This is sort of a sacred area to us locals. So please respect that. Now, this short, but beautiful hike is kid friendly, mostly shaded, (so great for hot summer days), an easy walk/hike and has educational placards of the different zones all along the way.
Limpy Creek is running strong right now with a few flowers starting to bloom - trillium and shooting stars. It's an easy loop through wooded and open areas with mild elevation gain and some beautiful views. Lots of cars in the lot but it didn't feel crowded. Lovely hike!
Quiet beautiful place to moderately hike. Sometimes there can be quite a crowd of people lingering on parts of the trail, get together hikers, kids field trips ect. Nature is wonderful and I am hoping people show respect and take out what they took in so we can all enjoy this nature getaway for years to come.
Really enjoyed this trail! Not too long or difficult but a nice walk with great views. Awesome little waterfall about half way through the trail. Definitely worth checking out!
