Confirmed from Lindner Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Lindner Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (295 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

“Beautiful trails and very well kept open parkway.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 8 mentions

“I was not expecting to find a park here, and I certainly wasn't anticipating it to be so interesting and beautiful!”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 9 mentions

“Easy street parking in a quiet residential neighborhood and a free parking lot in the park.”

I was not expecting to find a park here, and I certainly wasn't anticipating it to be so interesting and beautiful! There's roughly a mile of trails, if that matters to you, but more striking are the gardens in the center of the park and the ruins hidden throughout the nearby woods.

This park is amazing. At first I thought it was a basic park until I went down a trail. This park is the definition of hidden beauty. Definitely my new favorite park.

★★★★★ — Ben , Apr 2023

The history of this place is quite interesting. The trail is short, simple, and not difficult. It has a nice size picnic area but very limited parking about 6 or 7 cars max. There are restrooms also!

★★★★☆ — Dominique , Feb 2024

Had a blast walking around in the rain. The path for a little muddy, but fun to let the kids adventure to what seemed like an old house or jail. I need to look up the story of the park because now I'm interested.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🤫 Quiet / uncrowded 9 mentions
