Confirmed from Lisbon Community Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Lisbon Community Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (183 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 6 mentions

“You're going to have good trails to walk on, beautiful scenery, places to host events or small parties, and plenty to do for the little ones.”

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“Play area for all ages with a more unique variety of equipment.”

Super neat little area with some hidden gems! I found some cute little wooden sculptures down one of the trails! There's also a bear and an owl 🦉🐻🙃 I didn't get to explore all the paths yet, so there are probably some more lurking around! Beautiful!

★★★★★ — Bre , May 2021

Beautiful park with lots of great trails. Close to the Bark River and connects to Bugline Trail. The park management keeps cutting down th natural foliage and clearing away green areas which I feel takes away from the natural feel of thr place.

★★★★☆ — Nicholas , Mar 2021

I love this park. There are lot of walking trails that provide nice scenery (through a prairie, woods, and along the bug line trail). There is also a water area where you can see various wildlife. The best part about the park is you can bring your dog with! There aren't too many spots around here that you can.

★★★★★ — Zachary , Sep 2016

We parked here in order to gain access to the Bugline Trail. We had a lot of rain the day before, so we wanted to walk our Chihuahua on a paved path. There is a paved walkway from the 1st parking lot to the trail. It looks as though there is also a grass walkway within the park itself.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 7 mentions

“Good for walking dogs or for an elderly person trying to get there steps in.”

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
