Confirmed from Little Sugar Creek Greenway (Brandywine)'s own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Little Sugar Creek Greenway (Brandywine)

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (58 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 5 mentions

“The connector from brandywine to Marion diehl is a beautiful addition to the Sugar Creek Greenway.”

Nice easy concrete trial with some easy up and down hills. Cool bridges and tunnel along the way to make things interesting. Free residential road parking on Westfield Rd. Mixture of walkers, runners, dog walkers and bicyclists share the trail, plenty of room for everyone to pass.

The connector from brandywine to Marion diehl is a beautiful addition to the Sugar Creek Greenway. I can now bike from my house to either the SC border, or north to NoDa, without worrying about any street traffic!

Very pretty walk from Park Road through a neighborhood and to Freedom Park. Enjoyed exploring another area of the city.

★★★★☆ — Charlene , Mar 2023

Convenient in town path with plenty of trail to get your steps in. Adjacent to beautiful neighborhoods. You may even see a deer or two.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 6 mentions

“Love this trail it’s in very upscale area the parking was little confusing but it was very nice views of the water and nature”
