Confirmed from Little Sugar Creek Greenway: Tyvola Road to Huntingtowne Farm Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🌾 quiet & peaceful 4 mentions

One of the best, if not the best, greenways in all of Mecklenburg County. The Tyvola entrance has parking and within minutes, you’re surrounded by nature on both sides of the paved greenway. This is a great place for walkers, runners, cyclists, people walking dogs, etc.

It’s definitely one of the best paved greenway trails in Charlotte that you can be instantly surrounded by nature, hear the birds and enjoy a walk outdoors . Saw a lot of people running, riding bikes and also walking their dogs. Overall a great experience there!!

A rare 5* from me. Nice 7 mile long (14 mile round trip) bike ride 🚴 on a paved Greenway from Tyvola Road South to the Polk memorial in Pineville. No grade-level roads to cross - all underpasses. Little Sugar Creek is alongside the whole way. Wide pavement, no trouble passing pedestrians. Excellent condition.

★★★★★ — Gary , Mar 2022

Nice peaceful trail with lots of ground in between gives you feel of jogging. Many small bridges on the way. Good paved road enables for cycling, jogging and walking. Ample amount of parking on trail head on Tyvola road. There are many approach road connects to this trail from so many places in between.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🅿️ Trailhead parking 10 mentions

“While neither the Tyvola nor the Huntingtowne parking lots have restrooms, the Huntingtowne location does offer a water fountain, a children's play area, and tennis courts.”
