Confirmed from Llandover Woods Greenspace's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Llandover Woods Greenspace

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (245 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 9 mentions

“The greenery is absolutely beautiful, easily the match of numerous national parks.”

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“Easy walk but save your energy for the end when you have to walk back up to the entrance- there is a short incline.”

Signage is light and we weren't sure what to expect. The lot has room for ~10 cars and the hike from there is down a moderately steep slope to meet up with a small loop. Shaded by trees and nice but a lot of hill for a toddler.

Great urban hike, offers a great work out if done at a fast pace, but is easy enough for young children if was at a leisurely pace. Oasis in the subarbs

★★★★★ — Carol , Jul 2018

What a charming little park! Trails are easy and beautiful. It's been a mini landscape photo destination for me over the last year.

★★★★★ — Roger , Dec 2020

Absolutely beautiful. You would never know that you were in Seattle. Wide paths, lots of ferns and trees. Some nice hills to get your heart rate up on. We were there at around 3:30 PM on a weekday and it was empty.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
