Confirmed from Shoreview Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Shoreview Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (856 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 3 mentions

“A few sections along the creek have washed out and are not in great condition for small kids or folks who aren't super agile.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 6 mentions

“Several nice trails, some challenging sections to hike, a few old growth trees among the younger ones, dog friendly, great playground, and a beautiful creek.”

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“Other than this, it is a nice big park with easy hikes, tennis courts, nice little trenches, baseball fields, playgrounds for kids, among other things.”

We frequent the off leash park. And try to time it with the sunset, because the trail off the parking lot leads to a bench with an incredible view of Puget Sound with the backdrop of Olympic Mountains. It's stunning!

What a surprise to stumble upon this gem of a park. Several nice trails, some challenging sections to hike, a few old growth trees among the younger ones, dog friendly, great playground, and a beautiful creek.

I'm hesitant to shed light on this underused place. Some amazing trails with up and down hill. Some run by a creek and ends up at a small pond. The wildlife and scenery is unbeatable. One of my new found favorite parks to take the kids. The playground is excellent too.

Nicely maintained trails to walk around on. It wasn’t too crowded and parking on the street was easy and close. Stick to the main trails unless you don’t mind getting a little dirty.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
