Confirmed from Longbrook Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
A 34-acre park on a reclaimed swamp with natural areas, a creek & lit sports fields.
What runners say about Longbrook Park
“Wonderful hometown park with large fields, a beautiful double Decker pond, and sports utilities.”
This park is very family-friendly with lots of shade, a splash pad, and a nice playground for the kids. It’s a great place to walk around, enjoy nature, and spend quality family time. You’ll often see wildlife like turtles, birds, and frogs around the pond, which is always a fun surprise.
Beautiful neighborhood park!! Paved pathways and nice stonework!! Great place to walk and unwind!!
It was very good and fun. I think there should be more parking space though. The water park was very fun and the kids loved it. The playground itself is also entertaining. Walking around the lake like thing was also very beautiful. I loved it a lot. The kids especially. Can't wait to go back.
Beautiful park. Nice trail. Would've gave 5 star but the trails aren't wheelchair accessible. Narrow path. Can easily roll into the water. Also there are no ramps. Just stairs. Anyways beautiful spot! Can't wait for it to be more accessible

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
