Confirmed from Lorain County Metro Parks' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Fantastic park! Miles of trails (blacktop, gravel, and dirt), birds of prey (eagle, owls, falcons, worlds largest eagles nest, ect...)mini-zoo, indoor educational play area for kids, indoor bird watching area, attractive meeting areas, big fireplace, maple syrup cabin, and much more!

This is great place to place for little kiddos. My 2.5 year old loved the indoor play area and dinosaurs. She also enjoyed the walk outside to see the raptors. They have a bald eagle, perigran falcon, and owls.

Wonderful trails I cannot wait until they add more!! Great activities! Love their rental halls.

Fantastic park for everyone! Lots of paved and unpaved trails for hiking or birdwatching. They feature a small playground at entrance and a ice cream/pizza shop with a putt putt golf course. The scenery along the trails is very beautiful and full of all different kinds of wildlife.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
