Confirmed from Lorraine Cherry Nature Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

I enjoy visiting this park. Good place for a hike or run under the shade, since there are many trees. If you want a bigger, paved Loop, there's one going around the park. There's a small baseball field where some young teams play at times. Plenty of Street parking around the park.

A lovely little park nestled inside a neighborhood. Lots of quiet nature trails and a place to escape all the noise. Its not huge so it won't take long to explore all of it but if you are in the area and want to spend a little quiet time walking through nature you can't beat it.

Such a cute park! It doesn't feel like you're in the city, the whole trail is shaded with trees and it contains a surprising number of trails to explore. We always see so many different types of birds and other animals. Worth checking out!

Great little trails in a booming area. Can't wait to get back in a couple of months. I wish the housing developers kept more of this natural habit instead of building water slides and tennis courts.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 9 mentions

“Love the park, but today, there were several irresponsible pet owners who would not bother to leash their pets (as others have mentioned).”
