Gorgeous spot for a paved autumn bike ride! The beautiful foliage and ease of access make this a must-see for my fall bike-rides. Added bonus: so many monarch butterflies! Took my e-bike + 2 kids in trailer up the 5.5 mile trail that has a steady incline, especially at the end.
It was my first time riding my mountain bike this weekend around the city creek canyon area and memory grove. There were a few people hiking and riding road bikes but definitely not crowded at all. Spent -4hrs and looking forward to get back again to bike and hike around more.
I love this area. Every time I visit Salt Lake City I make sure to go for a run on the trails surrounding City Creek Canyon. If you prefer road you can definitely run or ride up the road. It's really beautiful no matter what route you take.
Pretty incredible natural environment with asphalt and parallel dirt trails for exercise with a stream which attracts some wildlife. Three miles up the trail is where it starts to get more interesting, near the watershed area.
