Confirmed from Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge - Parkland's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (51 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 8 mentions

“Great place to walk, rent kayaks, see Florida’s beautiful landscape”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 7 mentions

“Incredible wildlife refuge area so close to town, a perfect spot for a walk to get some quiet.”

Great for riding a bike - you can bike north, south or west. The west path is the best: you can spot gators, turtles and a lot of birds. Quiet and nice spot for just enjoying nature and seeing the stars at night. Not to mention the beautiful view of the sunset. Definitely a great spot to enjoy alone or with others.

This is the South or Parkland/Broward cty Entrance. The main location is in Boynton Beach/Palm Beach cty with more trails and a visitor center. This location is most popular for fishing in the Everglades! There is a walking trail plus a second trail mainly for cycling but can walk it too!

Incredible wildlife refuge area so close to town, a perfect spot for a walk to get some quiet. You can spot gators, amazing views, and beautiful dragonflies. I'll definitely be back!

Awesome trail for long bike rides! Lots of alligators and so many birds. We have even had deer run along with us! And if you head west on the levee the sunsets are spectacular!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
