Beautiful area! Please be aware that this is a HUNTING area. I see many people out walking their dog or bird watching that seem to be bothered by the occasional shot being fired. I've included maps for ODFW hunting access and the Luckiamute Landing State map.
This is a beautiful place..it is incredibly peaceful hard to describe how it makes you feel when spending time here. It's also a great place to take your dog for a walk. My dog wants to come here every day.
Pathway is rock. It's easy to walk but would be difficult for wheelchair accessibility. There is one picnic table at the south access.
My favorite walk with my dog! Dogs can be off leash except during nesting season, on leash April - September. A 2.5 mile loop trail with informative interpretational signs, diverse foliage, lots of hawks, eagles, and songbirds. A short cutoff takes you directly to the river and a pleasant boat campsite and beach.
