Perfect place to take the family for a hike. The kids and dogs loved the diverse selection of trails and areas to explore. Hidden gem of the valley if you enjoy nature and all things related. Also a great area for furthering education of the outdoors for all ages.
Great trail for an easy hike with dogs. Little lake at the top to cool the pup off and get a drink.
Peavy Arboretum is worth checking out. Trails vary from easy to high moderate. Wheelchair accessible and parking available, restrooms are portable. Many signs on the trail starting what species of bush/tree and where they are from. This is also an educational facility for the college students.
Fantastic 0.4 mile loop with forest ecology signs appropriate for elementary school age kids. Easy, beautiful, walk, without much rise or fall to the trail.
