Confirmed from Luther Lake's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Simple park with a lake and a walking path.
What runners say about Luther Lake
“Luther Lake is simple, but very pleasant, whether you're in need of a place for a casual stroll, a scenic jog or just want somewhere to sit back and watch the ducks waddle by.”
“I love where I live specifically for this beautiful scenic peaceful place!”
It’s amazing knowing that this little lake has lots of ducks that surprises me. I was taking pictures when one duck walking towards me and I never noticed that they are around in this area as I was focused on the scenery.
Love walking around the lake but i sure wish it had a restroom because drinking water and trying to stay hydrated during the heat sure isnt fun when you need to go to bathroom...
I Always enjoy a walk around Luther Lake. Especially with my Granddaughter
It's a pond that appears landlocked, surrounded by a paved path with memorials and a few spots to sit. I had a great time with a pond side sushi picnic then making a few laps and conversing with the locals. There was a surprising amount of foot traffic which tells me this is a popular spot.
