Confirmed from Mac Anderson Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This was a beautiful park to walk. Mostly shaded paths and very peaceful.

This is my favorite park in Statesville. It's a nice size with paved walking trails. It's actually an exercise park, with different workout stations if someone wants to follow. There is a bathroom on site. I have not been inside. My husband and son have, they said it's fine. It's a lovely place to walk your dog.

Great place to take the kids or just go alone or with friends to get some exercise. There's exercise equipment set up all along the walking path to stop and do exercises and a lot of them are made for seniors 50+ which I thought was a great idea. Squirrels there are friendly, too lol my son was feeding them.

My and my kids love to go here and walk. It is so peaceful and beautiful. There are tons of squirrels that we got to feed. We actually took our dog the last time we went and our dog loved it too. I highly recommend this park if you are looking for peace, connect with nature and enjoy walking.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 11 mentions

“The park itself features many benches to sit and relax upon while enjoying the various views of fields, creeks, and natural foliage.”
