Confirmed from Mackay Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Outdoor park with athletic facilities such as a rink, softball and baseball fields, and basketball and tennis courts.
What runners say about Mackay Park
Let me start by saying we were here for only hockey and didn't walk the grounds, which appeared to have a lot to do in the warmer weather. However If visiting the ice rink bundle up because it's technically an outdoor rink with a roof and one of the coldest rinks we've been to. The changing rooms are small.
Very pleasant park to enjoy a walk with plenty of benches to rest at. There are deer in the area which keep to themselves so it's an extra nice touch to an otherwise nice area. Nice sized playground for the kids. Everything was maintained well and has the soft rubber floor to keep the children safe.
Great park to chill, workout, and relax. I take special needs clients all the time to walk around, relax, and play basketball. Feels very safe
Park is awesome for kids and also adults if they want to work out or run around the track that they have I like taking my son here and he enjoys climbing swinging sliding etc etc
Trail conditions & character
“Park is absolutely ok but dogs are not allowed, eventual punishment 250$ or higher, we spoke with a supervisor, Google has false information.”
