Confirmed from Majestic View Nature Center's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Kid-friendly park with a nature center featuring exhibits for kids, plus trails with wildlife.
What runners say about Majestic View Nature Center
“The center itself is a nicely maintained building with meeting rooms and kid friendly displays.”
“Lovely place, interesting activities, we rented a beautiful bright nature room for a workshop for our group.”
I had an opportunity to attend a meeting at the Majestic View Nature Center and discover what a great venue it is for get togethers. The center itself is a nicely maintained building with meeting rooms and kid friendly displays.
I had a great time with my dog here. They had paved as well as gravel trails. There were shaded areas to sit and a large pond with tones of birds and other wildlife. They also had other amenities.
Very nice walking trail with a gorgeous mountain view. Definitely check out the nature center. It also has tennis courts and kids playground.
Beautiful little park free access with parking and indoor restrooms. No off trail walking as this is all a nature preserve and wildlife viewing but if you try to knock out all the trails doubling back a couple of times you can put in a couple miles. Great view by the lake with the mountains in the back

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
