Confirmed from Wood Run Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Casual area with ballfields, swings and slides amid trees and hills.
What runners say about Wood Run Park
“Beautiful sunset this evening wish I could have took pics but I had other pressing issues I was dealing with while I was there.”
“It was quiet and peaceful when I went, with my dog.”
It's a nice park for kids and adults. Its a good walk around the park for adults. Kids can enjoy the playground. Swings for babies and little kids. There's even 1 basketball ring and big baseball field. Dogs have a great area to run around. It's a nice park
It's a nice park. Lots of walking trailals. Has a big field for soccer and a little baseball diamond. There is a half basketball court with lots of benches great for walking and enjoying the views. The playground for the size of the park was sad. We adventure around Arvada to find parks.
Great playground for kids about two and up! There are swings, baby swings, and a handicapped swing. Also a playground Jeep for pretend road trips, seats four kids and adults can even sit in it.
Wood run Park is off of Hoyt way north of W. 80th Ave., in Arvada, CO 80005. There are some great walking paths. They have a playground, basketball, hoop, picnic table with a built-in grill (one would have to bring their own charcoal to grill with). There is an area to practice baseball or softball.
