Confirmed from Margaret Polf Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Public park with picnic tables, a playground, and a trail, plus facilities for soccer and baseball.
What runners say about Margaret Polf Park
“Massive park, multiple children's play area's, a bmx track, and well maintained facilities are just some of the wonderful amenities this park boasts.”
“It's a beautiful park lots of fun for my grandchildren my doggies loved the big green lawn to run around in”
Good place to walk and exercise. There is a nice big grass area for sports and a paved trail that is more than one mile. Recently durring the snow storm many trees and their limbs have fallen, making the full trail inaccessible.
This is by far my favorite place to walk. The track is amazing and I look be it. It is also one of my favorite parks to take my kids. I love how it is set up in age groups. It is such a fun place to play basketball or take the dogs to run in the field. My only worry is they need to clean the restrooms more often.
My kids enjoyed this park. My two year old has developmental delays and enclosed parks are amazing. He had fun here! And I had the peace of mind that he couldn’t escape and run away. Definitely will return.
Raced there for a Cross Country meet. It was pretty small, but had a large field and some well maintained asphalt trails, along with an area for recreation. Great for morning walks and picnics.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
