Went here with my 1yr girl dog. Both loved it. The marsh was gorgeous and looks way better in person (duh). There’s a dog park with a water hose. There’s benches every so often along the trails. It was kinda quiet for a Saturday afternoon but there were a few people & dogs there.
Pretty trail. We stopped at the dog park before. There are 2 fenced in areas for dogs to run around. One for small dogs and one for bigger dogs. There isnt a ton of parking but that wasnt a problem for us during a weekday afternoon.
Tucked away, quiet and mostly shaded. At the beginning of the trail there is a small dog park, separated for big and and small dogs and a butterfly garden with a bench. The short trail winds through live oaks to the marsh front. It's more picturesque at high tide when the water comes in over the marsh grass.
Thanks to the East Cooper Land Trust, there exists this lovely hidden gem of a trail in Mount Pleasant with a great view at the end! Easily walkable. Quiet and serene. Bring your dog, too. There is a fenced in dog park on the way in with a place to dispose of dog waste if needed. Please pick up after your pup!
