Confirmed from Shem Creek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What a beautiful boardwalk. Seems like it's a gateway to the sea. The ocean breezes gently caress your skin, and face gives you such calmness and a refreshing feeling. Love this place. Please come and enjoy it for yourself. There's a lot of parking and handicap parking too. There's bathrooms as well.

Always a great spot to visit! I like to grab food and go eat at the end of the walkway. Lots of animal life and big energy! Plus Vickerys offers a great vibe for patio food/drink! The park is a walkable loop and accessible for wheelchairs/strollers too.

Excellent boardwalk for after dinner walk. We saw egrets, live oyster, even sting ray as a fisherman caught one.

🌅 Go Early or Late Local park with a nice long boardwalk. ♿️Accessible for views of the creek and wild life. Be sure to get there early or late. Gravel driveway with a few deep pot holes. Paid overflow parking as free parking is limited. They do have a few places to sit and enjoy the view.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
