Confirmed from Martha Lake Airport Park Off-Leash Dog Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Martha Lake Airport Park Off-Leash Dog Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (581 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🌳 shaded & cool 3 mentions

“On hot days there is no shade so you have to leave the enclosure for some shade breaks if you stay long.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“It was also quiet, creating a calm and relaxing environment for both dogs and their owners.”

Great park right down the street from me. Has a tiny wooded trail, a paved walking trail around the park, ball fields, skatepark, playground, bathrooms, and small and large dog parks. I like that the dog park uses sand, so it's usable when it's wet and doesn't become mud like other parks.

★★★★★ — Kim , Jan 2025

I was surprised seeing a big park with skate park, playgrounds, public restrooms, and an all enclosure dog park which has sand mostly. DO bring your own water 💦!! Big place to fetch and play with other dogs. There’s walking trails around the area and sports fields ⚾️ 🏀 🎾 .

★★★★☆ — Ann , Jul 2024

It's a great park. Awesome on sunny days. There is so much to do for everyone here. There is a good skatepark inside it which engages children and adults. A huge rock to climb is the highlight of this park. There is a small children's play area too.

★★★★★ — Charu , Jan 2021

This dog park is quite large, with two separate areas: one for small or shy dogs and another for bigger, more adventurous pups. The ground is all sand, and since there are no poop stations, you may come across a few surprises. I wouldn’t recommend visiting on hot days, as there’s no shade at all.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
