Confirmed from McCollum Park Forest Loop Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Acreage featuring a paved path, picnic benches, a playground and a closed swimming pool.

Absolutely beautiful trail, field and park! The trail is the best part! It's so well taken care of and absolutely breathtaking beautiful! So peaceful and calm, not very many people on it. Beautiful nature to see and learn about. Mushrooms, moss, stumps, trees, etc! Easy trail to walk for all ages!
SO many mushrooms! I have never seen this many varieties of mushrooms in one location. Granted I've never really gone looking. It was kind of magical. The trail is a loop that's tucked away on the opposite side of the parking lot from the athletic fields. Lots of people seemed to be out enjoying the trail.
Pros - 1. Right in the Mill creek neighborhood beside the freeway with ample parking 2. Lots of trees and ferns so you feel in a big forest 3. Slight elevation at places to keep the cardio up and running 4. Creek and ducks along the way Cons- 1. Looks a bit shabby at places. Probably needs some maintenance 2.
An excellent all around park with everything! Playground, pool, natur walk experience, bmx track, soccer fields and more! A park and ride so always populated. Mill creek bicycle trail to the south east, Interurban Bike path to the North West. Tons of parking.
