Confirmed from Maryville Alcoa Greenway park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Picturesque greenway featuring paved paths with picnic tables for biking and walking trails.

Wife and I ride the Greenway from Maryville to the other side of Alcoa. It's a great ride along Pistol Creek. We are able to get 23 mi out of it for a close to the house ride! Befriended a guy that's restoring an old log cabin. We've also seen other wildlife on our rides this past year.
Great scenic park with level walking/biking paths with picnic tables and fun places to explore! Great climbing trees, beautiful waterfalls along the trail, and nature to see.
Nice park with a river and long trails for a stroll or bicycle ride. Peaceful and quiet, there are spots where you can hear river babbling as it flows.
I go walking there. It's pretty, clean. One thing they need are bathrooms

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
