Maryville Greenway is an absolutely beautiful park in the middle of downtown that goes for miles in either direction. It has water features, benches, a dog park, bike paths, picnic tables, green features, fishing, biking and hiking. A true feather in the cap of Maryville.
I love the ease of the trail! It's beautiful, peaceful and includes 2 dog parks (1 for small dogs, and 1 for large dogs)
A nice trail system. Sometimes the connections are a bit awkward. The path may be under water or mud in places after a rain. Bumpy areas on paths, though I think the narrow area with a brick path was my least favorite. The best spots had lots of green foliage/shade and were along the water.
The Maryville and Alcoa Greenways are an incredible asset to this lovely area. Whether you bike, walk, run, scooter, or skate, 11 miles of gorgeous trails wind through several developed parks and quiet creekside and forested areas. A golden asset.
