Confirmed from Mattapoisett Rail Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Well maintained for biking, plenty of parking, and great access to the waterfront in Fairhaven.”
“So peaceful and scenery was beautiful just walked a short section but what we saw was worth the stop can't wait to go back and walk the path next spring”

This is a great addition to the path. Very scenic as you bike across the river and marshes. Can't wait until the next segment is complete so I can ride right into downtown Mattapoisett. The Water side road to Ned's Point Lighthouse is in rough shape.
One of the most beautiful dedicated trails I’ve ever been on! Well maintained for biking, plenty of parking, and great access to the waterfront in Fairhaven.
We only walked a short way and used the walkway exit onto the beach. We walk a lot of trails and I was impressed with the number of amenities here. It all ways handicap accessible, there were benches and seating to eat. There is a bathroom at some point. We will go back to enjoy more of the walk. It was pretty busy.
Mattapoisett rail trail is the 💣!! Great for walkers, strollers, and wheelchairs. Beautiful views. Complimentary dog bags for pups who poop. To the few people who selfishly opposed this gorgeous and beneficial trail, PUT THAT IN YOUR PIPE AND SMOKE HEAVILY ON IT!
