Plenty of parking, great restaurant, wonderful shopping, 5 acres to walk about. Sculptures and other art installations. Friendly staff.
Great public park. My kid loved the playground and the walking trails were very peaceful (if a bit muddy). Saw some dude get arrested at the Boys & Girls Club, too! Way to go Sonoma SO!
Big open field to run around in. Nice short wooded trails behind the park.
Maxwell Farms Regional Park checks all the boxes before you even lace up your hiking boots. The parking lot is generously sized — no circling in despair — and comes equipped with actual functioning bathrooms (a luxury in the park world) and a handful of EV chargers for the eco-conscious among us.
