Confirmed from McCormick Village Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about McCormick Village Park
“Very clean, with a hidden dog park in the back (more of an open fenced-in area for dogs).”
“There are easy walking trails, picnic benches under shade, and playgrounds for big kids & little ones.”
Great new little park. We really enjoyed the dog park. Hoping they will have a water source available eventually. Walk the trails a nice peaceful destressing.
A nice average sized park. Two playgrounds- one for littles & one for olders- separated by a short slope. Wood chips for ground cover. One covered picnic area with tables, one uncovered, some trees for shade available to sit under. Cement benches available near the play structures.
McCormick park was a great time! The splash pad is super nice for a hot day ! But be advised the water is cold! I also brought my own chairs to sit so we didnt have to worry about getting a picnic table. It is also nice that they have a bigger playground and one for smaller kids.
Absolutely the best thing to happen to our little part of the woods. Great fountain water park to cool off, 2 off leash dog areas(one for large dogs and one for small!) Large clean walking trails and tons of toys to climb on. 2 very large unisex bathrooms with soap and towels and always very clean.
Trail conditions & character
“Includes playground, gravel walking trails, gated dog park, splash pad, bathrooms, and picnic area.”
“The only downside wad the bathroom was a little dirty, but its also an outside/public restroom so it could have been worse.”
“Also not a ton of parking so be prepared to go early!”
“There are easy walking trails, picnic benches under shade, and playgrounds for big kids & little ones.”

- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
